The only thing that will hold this much power is a v160/v161 tranny from a toyota tundra that the supra and is300 guys swap in. That swap costs about $17,000 dollars with clutch and all misc parts.

I'll eventually get the swap done in the next year or two, but right now it will stay automatic as I've all ready poured a lot of money into the car for right now.

damn Moiz! That's sick as hell!

The molded fender flares look amazing. I can't wait to see it out, bring it to DD when it's all finished.

not trying to take anything away from it, it does look good but i see a lot of cars in our shop that had custom work done by tweeter and it seems like its always the same thing; false floor for amps w/ plexi. and neons with a JL sub (usually W7 [understandably]) mounted firing towards the rear of the car built up with plexi and bondo to look like a bass volcano and wrapped in suede.

it does look nice tho, just for the amount a job like that costs i could think of a few other options i would rather go for! just my .02

The guy who did the trunk used to own Vibrationz. He is definitely not your typical tweeter installer. Here are some examples of his work:

Here are some other pictures of cars that were done by him:

more pics here: http://s237.photobucket.com/albums/f...ttsCustomCars/

How much would your shop charge for a job done like mine? Labor alone.. including wiring headrest monitors, avic-z2, and the custom door panels?

i think your misunderstanding what i am trying to say haha. they all look good (the mustang i think is on TST actually, the green audi was parting his system out, and is that not the installers BMW?) it just seems to me, that when someone does something over and over again, something that was once original becomes "typical".

compare BMW to Audi (strangely similar?), I would be willing to bet all above systems have blue neon lights incorporated, false floors w/ 2 tone suede seems a little over used to me and the floating amp racks in the first pic do not do it for me for some reason... maybe im around this type of **** too much and have become overly critical haha im really not trying to argue or be a dick.

tweeter jobs a co-worker sold while @ tweeter... do you see what i mean??

ok im done the thread jack! your cars sick, im jealous and i want one

Id take a 300hp manual over a 600hp automatic any day of the week.

I see what you mean... Thanks for the compliments.

I am most likely going to re-do the trunk in a month or so... I want to do something that weighs a little less...

I vaguely remember, but when your car was in the process of being finished two summers ago you mentioned you were looking at getting the GT35r turbo.
