I recently came back from a big convention in Seattle, and all the professionals in my (upcoming) field repeatedly said that LinkedIn is one of the best ways to find employment and make important connections.

Thought I would bring this thread back to life. This is an invaluable recruiting tool and I know the guys that I work with use it a lot to find new talent that isn't plastered all over Monster and Career Builder.

If you're viewing Linkedin as a "Job Board" you're looking at, and using it in the wrong way. Linkedin is about creating a professional network that will provide you with "opportunities."

Sure in the recent economy we've been happy to be employed. As a recruiter, we are beginning to see the market take a swing in the possitive direction again. This is the time for currently employed persons to begin looking for new and more promising opportunities.

Kind of been wondering. Where does Mishimoto have it's manufacturing and engineering done? I assume it is contracted out just wondering to where.

So you guys don't use any "Mechanical Engineers" in the design of the pieces the Mechanical arm does are the measurements and specs for you?

Sorry to bother you, I'm just always curious as I specialize in the placement of Engineering staff.
