Cmon don't gimme that sh*t about him being to old and not sounding right. Look at the guys that did the voices for Transformers. I didn't hear anyone complaining about them...

But cmon he was just in Blades of Glory. That was just last year and he seemed fine there. Plus he played the voice of KITT in The Benchwarmers and it sounded fine to me. They can make anything sound good these days with the technology thats out there.

I think he reasoning behind that is based more on GM sponsoring the movie. Hence why they all were GM cars. Product spots ya know.

I agree though. KITT should remain a trans-am. A Mustang... really ruins it for me.

Yea, but there's no Trans Am (and no plans for one ATM). So they wound up with the GT500KR...although..it'd be kinda cool to see KITT as a GTR.

then you'd have a show that was entirely CGI considering how expensive the GTR is... not to mention it wouldn't make sense KITT being a GTR.

I feel KITT being a Camaro would have been a better decision, and they probably would have gone there if a certain movie didn't have a robot, talking, intelligent in it already

No, but they can easily dress up regular v6 mustangs for the stunts that will destroy the car

I looked it up and apparently it wasn't a beetle because it reminded Micheal Bay of the love bug lol. But yeah GM sponsored most of the movie.
