I don't think prizes are necessary but there is no recognition of the winner in the previous months. It seems like everyone hops in the thread, votes, then it fizzles out. I'm guessing most members don't even know when voting ends and if they do, they've forgotten about it by then. Maybe make a thread recognizing the winner of each month with their picture, or at least a post within the voting thread stating that voting has closed and xxxx member has won with xxxx picture. Just a thought.

I did that for the first few, then I got lazy. I'll start posting the winner's name and such with the upcoming contests.
