Guitar: Stevie Ray Vaughn:

Gives me goosebumps every time.

Derek Trucks, George Benson, Frank Zappa

Guitar Trio (Al DiMeola, Paco Delucia and John Mclaughlin):

I used to be huge into Dream Theater but the shredding got old. Falling into Infinity is the only DT album I can listen to anymore.

Bass: Jaco Pastorius

Christian McBride:

Cliff Burton for his sense of melody

Drums: Billy Cobham, Jack De Johnette, Bill Ward, ?uestlove

Brian Blade:

Tony Williams:

I'm not really into a flashy drummer who can play a billion beats per minute. What impresses me more is a guy who can keep a beat
going and has a sense of rhythm.

I'll agree with that. If he's that good with one arm, imagine how incredible he'd be with two.

I've seen Def Leppard in concert a number of times, and he is simply amazing to watch.

This kid has impressed me more than any other guitarist over the past year or so. Don't mind the faces he makes, I'm sure this takes immense concentration - and subsequently, loss of facial expression.

I have seen a lot of guitar video's but nothing that has stood out like those. It's amazing that people are taking things to unheard of levels.
