this is a crazy house man it HUGE!!!! i love it but no way we are going to get that she wants 359,000 for it and we got approved for 260 no way she is going to take a 100,000 lose! but i like my house better

see how i call it my house already

well guys we did it yesterday! we made an offer on house number one! after visiting the house for the 5th time and checking more things out, and having our families come look at the house (my parents and my wifes parents) we went to the realitor and made the offer of $205,129. why so low? because every single wall needs to be painted and the whole house needs new carpet. they had a dog and it stained a lot of spots. so we priced out the new carpet and WOW $9435 not including taxes!!! but lets see what happens! wish us luck!

I think the first house looks beautiful. You shouldn't really take into account the current decorating, carpet, and colors -- concentrate on the actual shapes and layouts of the rooms, cause everything else can be changed.

.. And that second house is just too much for starting out.

well its just the rug is stained and some spots are yellow from that dam dog! but his dog cost them some $$.. the market is bad enough that i even thing they will take that offer. but the wife and i are set and we will not go over 210 if not we will continue to shop! i will keep us all updated!

ok guys its been done! 210,000 is the final bid and they said YES!! now we finish the mortgage paper work. closing date is dec 28 (since my wife and i are on christmas break) so now we have a lot of work and so on!! but i will keep everyone posted!!

Congrats! Ive been looking at houses a lot lately and Im really suprised at the difference in price between here and where you are! That house would go for at least $70k more here. But your taxes are nuts!

ok finally!! we got the call today! we got approved finally for the mortgage!!! so i am a happy camper now closing is Dec 28th!!!
