yeah, i know what you mean. working on sundays is prolly the worst day to work there, who in their right mind this time of year wants to work on their cars? and truck is a bitch and a half some times, because half the **** we get in is all new ****, and nothing comes in our totes, and what ever does, there is usually like 2-3 items in a full tote. my boss is pretty cool, laid back, just likes to hide in the back office

I guarantee working in an acute rehab hospital kitchen alone, 3 meals, cook, prep, tray, clean, the whole 9 yards, is 5x as stressful. I need a new job so bad..this place is going to drive me ****ing nuts.

How do you get 70k? Here's the math:

Full time is 40 hours a week x 19 = $760 a week w/o taxes taken out

760 x 4 = $3040 a month (still w/o taxes out)

3040 x 12 = $36,480 a year, not 70k?

I did the same thing for $23 an hour and it's $44,160 a year. So I don't get it? It sounds like a good job I had no idea postoffice employees get paid that much

Pick up a job at a local car dealership doing detailing work.

Good experience for detailing your own car (hell, if you're good enough, you could make some money on the side too), and it's usually a fun job.

I've worked at two hobbyshops in my lifetime, one in Warminster, the other in Horsham. Fun job, but I got a little bored, and frustrated with my boss in Horsham. The one in Warminster was just too far of a drive.

I worked at a camera shop....you get spiffs (commissions) for selling cameras from most companies. Either that or a cell phone place.

LOL good luck! Half the time its not what you know, its who you know. Its really hard to get into a performance shop, whether you know a lot or not.

there are actually 52 weeks in a year. not 48.

$23 x 40 = $920

$920 x 52 = $47,840

+ overtime (time and a half and doubletime) and $70K pre-tax is not so far fetched.

if you are 17 you should still be in HS, correct? Get any job you can find for the time being, and go to college.

I didnt go to college, regretable? yes, but i am making better money than my 25 yr old g/f who has a degree. for now i'm on the dock at a duie pyle trucking co. making 14/hr, next month i'll be a trailer jockey making 15/hr. next jan. i go to CDL school and i'll be driving trucks for them starting at 17.25/hr w/ quarterly raises of .25/hr.

www.pyleco.com, they are always hiring
