I understand that you're without a car but like others have stated buying a beater and SAVING for the swap sounds like a better solution.

I gotta agree with Jeffro on this one, save cash for the swap, DONT GET A LOAN TO MOD A CAR!!!! Paying intrest on it for one is a waste of money, and swapping motors, or any mod really, does not improve the value of the car (to most people). Honestly, if the motor was blown, then try to replace it w/ another OEM motor, and if the financial situation is still that bad, id hate to say it, but try to sell the car to get outta payments, and get something else that doesnt require payments.

That, and to the person stating its hard to mod a car, when you rent..... BINGO!!! I havent been able to afford a THING for my car, since I have rent, utilities, and such.

exactly. get the oem motor fixed, save your money b/c having a place to stay and food to eat > swapped car.

i already have taken the loan for the swap paying it off isnt a problem
i work in a cubicle i make decent pay
i honestly just want my car to drive it again
after this swap im just going to be happy with it for awhile the way it is
no mods, no nothing just gas and oil changes
everything else is falling into place i just (of course) have a terrible stroke of luck
and get teh bootzorz right when im on my ass already

Id sell the swap parts and the car and just get a cheap beater..unless you think you can get on your feet sometime soon, then keep the car, but life is more important than horsepower, if you cant make rent and such, and have a car with a 10k swap, then you know you made a bad move in life some time ago. what did you get booted for if you dont mind me asking?

its not that simple man ill still have a car payment and such i cant sell the car because i cant get what i want for it

im not doing the swap for fun my trans is borked and i really dont want to buy a beat 5speed or fix mine and just have it break again

troll already has everything for me for the swap i already have the loan i cant give them their money back

i need to buy a beater until i can get my car back up and running again then i will once again DD my subie modding will take back seat to everything

id rather not talk about why i got the boot its a problem that has been ongoing since i was born that has once again reared its ugly head and when i tried to take a stand against it this is what i ****ing get

i knew it was a bad idea to post this thread thanks for everyone who gave me advice but i feel as if im going to get flamed so im done /thread

Sorry for askin man. My intention wasnt to flame though, I was just giving you advice...it just differed from a lot of what others said so I see where you are coming from. Nonetheless, I wish you the best and hope whatever move you make works out well.

i know but this is the only way i know how to get my life back on track and get my **** straight and im trying but its rough

honestly the only person i have left to turn to or to fall back on and support me is my girl shes always there for me it just sucks when even your parents wont and never have supported anything you do

now thats it for reals please close this thread
