More so just saying if 600-700 megs takes you a day to d/l (which on broadband shouldn't) then there is the option of streaming videos (youtube, streetfire, etc).

^^ I guess... or youtube just has mad top gear episodes and they dont take years to get... I guess they put episodes on the TV aswell? Like BBC or something, but I dont have a TV in here and would rather stay on the comp...(surround sound doesn't hurt either ).

What you don't understand is the reason it takes these other people so long is because they are using torrents. Doesn't always matter how fast your connection is, if there isn't enough seeders or highspeed seeders then you aren't going to get it fast.

Just another reason why I don't use torrents. Youtube quality sucks.

Why youtube, when I can get it in 15 mins with damn good quality? lol

Like 05GT said, it depends on the seeders. Sometimes it may take 45 minutes, other times it may take 4 hours.

The pros for using torrents is the episode is now yours for life. I have countless Top Gear and Fifth Gear episodes. I can throw them on a flash drive (which takes a few seconds) and take them anywhere or put the episodes on a DVD, make copies for friends, etc. Plus I like watching them on a large screen.

I also have a friend who will download 2 or 3 episodes and then I’ll copy them from him. Then I’ll download the episodes he didn’t and then he’ll copy them from me. Before you know it, you’ve got an automotive video archive.
