Im pretty excited to run, just gotta finish my new brake setup, switch some other stuff around and try and get a tune in beforehand. For all those taking pics keep an eye out for the titanium grey mazdaspeed protege. I need some good pics taken of it.

to start, running a catless exhaust or boost thats modified in any way puts you into Street Modified... so does a larger hood scoop since its an intercooler mod.

do yo have an aftermarket catless downpipe and aftermarket catless uppipe? if so its automatic SM. lot of other things will also bump you into that, not sure but honestly it doesnt matter that much cause we're all slower than the guys who are out there racing seriously so the class you're in isnt that big of a deal. i say sign up for street mod - novice.

Yeah, I probably will run anyway and like you said....get whooped by base model Minis.
I have half the install done...the more difficult half. I should be fine to have it finished up. 101k beat the rubber bushings up pretty good.

automatic SM.

It's good to hear though that your coming out just to have fun. You should come back in after your first runs smilling ear to ear. I know I did. Like I said before sign up for the Novice class and you will automaticly be given assistance by the instructors. Have fun out there and don't get discouraged.

I'll be there. Good to see some more TST folks coming out! I'll also be at the event on 10/13, but I run 1st heat and then have to leave for another event (non-autox) that day. Perks of being a Tech Chief... get the work out of the way early

tomorrow i have off and i'm pressure testing the intake side, checking for leaks everywhere on the exhaust side, and doing a couple other little things.
the car is essentially undriveable right now but an internet expert thinks the fuel is so far off at idle because of a leak so thats the first stop. after i know whats up there for sure then i may skip the alky temporarily and just go get a tune. still planning to do the alky but its backordered for 2 weeks and frankly i'm sick of not driving my subie. if i can go back down for a retune with alky without spending TOO much more cash then i might do that.
believe me, i really want to autox but its kinda iffy right now .
orrr i could drive barrys sti! on all season tires . wait on my spare set of sti wheels and tires!
