Its called Acronis True Image. It will make an image of your entire drive, including all documents and current installed programs. You can put those images on cd(s) then when you get the new drive, run them and they will reinstall everything picture perfect just as it was on the old drive. All your documents, programs, everything...will be there. But it does take a little time to backup.
ding ding ding. This guy has the answer.

G4U can do something similar to what 05GT was talking about, but it uploads the images to an FTP server. This would require a second PC (for the server), but you can easily setup a server on something like a laptop.

Gee....forgive me for not further explaining.

With the program I mentioned, you can also store the images on another drive.

OR as cburwell stated with the program he mentioned, with Acronis you can also save to a network location.

Keep in mind as you use Acronis to restore your system, you can actually start working after just a few minutes of it restoring...while it continues to full restore everything.

It has features such as rollback, incase you did a boo boo lol.
It can also create a "hidden" partition on your new drive where it can store an image that if your system ever crashes, at the touch of a button it can restore from that partition, Windows...along with everything else you had.

Ok I'm done ranting. Hope I explained it well. If not, they have a website lol.
