this all happened right near my friend's apartment, he said they looked out the window and saw the kid laying on the ground and people were standing around laughing and pointing, everyone thought the kid was just laying there crying because he got beat up. noon even called the police right away. i don't know how the hell this kind of **** can happen in a busy college town with hundreds of people around.. it isn't philly, it isn't the ghetto, this didn't happen in a dark alley... i just don't get it. who in their right mind would just stand back and watch as 3 people bet the hell out of one person? it's disgusting.

A-town is goin down hill too. In all seriousness there are reports of gangs moving into the area. Idk if its legit or people just acting like a gang, either way its not safe.

This is Bobert540... I am a student at KU and was out that night it happened. The weirdest part was I was at Shorty's and I was standing next to those 3 guys for most of the night. I was talking to my buddy who was there with me and we were wiggin out after we saw who did. It is ashame that happened, there are people walking around that town all the time but at 2:30 half the people on the street are usually coming home from parties. I never felt afraid of walking on main st. at night. You just can't predict anything especially being jumped by 3 people. From what i have read it seems like they were on a mission to start something because it said they were yelling out the windows of the car. It sucks because ktown is right inbetween allentown and reading and it is becoming worse and worse.

That's sickening.. I hate people that do that, just go around trying to start crap. Well, they'll all rot in jail.

Allentown if definitally going down hill. More and more gangs are becoming larger and it's a serious problem.

Yea well 10% of 10,000,000 should keep them in jail till they are all charged with 1st degree manslaughter/murder. Being between those two cities I can imagine how bad it is.

Such a shame. If those kids really were drunk etc etc,the looks on their faces would be priceless when they sober up and realize how completely ****ed they really are. Scumbags

Its really sad I drove past there last night and there were all these candles and everything. I don't understand how no one saw it and thought of to stop it. I drove past at like 2:30-2:45 and there were still a lot of people outside.
