different brand dynos, rim/tire sizes and correction values could account for the 14hp difference.

Well 241whp was with a decent amount of aftermarket bolt ons. So the dyno would have to make up for more then 14hp the before dyno with out mods was about 228-230.

New Z's are 13.1? Any proof? Sorta doubt that to be honest...all they did was move the torque band up to sell more cars because the Mustang GT had 300hp. There's no way they gain a second from that unless they did something I wasn't aware of.

Alright well then that puts the G35 in at 3300 pounds its still 300+ heavier. So if infiniti has the old G35 coupe stated at 3300 pounds an the Z weigh's the same thing even though they dont have back seats an are shorter over all, that could mean that car manufacturers can be wrong.

Kuz where you at i wanna go weigh your car this weekend an see what it comes out as.

Doing some searching before work all i could find is 13.3 in a 07, gotta remember that the newer Z's can also rev out to 7500 where i can only rev to 6800 so i have to shift to 4th before the end of the track were they can keep it in 3rd.

A bit more searching found. 13.1 @ 106 of course its a 07 again.

u guys got some heavy ass cars and they r still turnin low 13's? must be nice to have torque!

blackz05, id be shiftin way earlier than 6800 in that older z u got. they take a crap after 6k anyway. did u try short shiftin it and seein what times ud run? i kno for a fact i got a gearin issue where i could go across the line in 3rd standing on the limiter for the last 50 feet at 9500 rpm and waste time not accelerating, or i could shift to fourth 50 feet in front of the line and waste time again.
