you have to understand that people just dont care about their own property, which means they care less about other peoples, this **** always pisses me off when its my own car or someone elses. I mean like around here where we parallel park people just dont stop backing up until they hit your car. They dont realize that some people take the time to keep their cars clean and scratch free.

I know i may not have the nicest car in the world but people should still check themselves around it

When I used to drive my GSX to the mall/acme, etc, I'd park all the way out where no cars were but in visible site, and almost everytime someone would go out of their way to park next to me just to be spiteful.

Yep which is why my bumper looks like this now. The lot at work is very small and tight, only 8 spots. The lot is right up against the building, which is brick. So instead of hitting the wall, this asshole hit me and scraped up my bumper.
Bad pic that makes it not look as bad...

you know what really pisses me off more than that situation. people who either pull in or back in but they are crooked as hell so you can barely get in your door. and its worse when they are crooked and the drivers door of the other car is the closest to your car becasue america is getting fat so it was most likely a lard ass that threw his door open into yours then slid his fat ass down your car walking by.

**btw i have no problem personally with fat people its a personal choice

I know exactly how you feel. I took this pic at a client's site last year. I was pretty pissed also even tho he's not as close as the guy in your pic.

I fear for my car when I park/drive in the acme parking lot, no observance of the right of way, people drive in the middle of the parking lot aisles, people drive and stop in the middle of the parking lot entrance, people park in the fire lane (GOD I can't wait until there is a fire). I think I'm in new york sometimes...
Not to mention the rate awhich people whip their car doors open not looking to see what they might hit or if their door could get swiped off.
--
people probably feel special parking in the back of the parking lot RIGHT NEXT to your car when there are 78238963996 other parking spaces available.
--
I swear for god if my car ever gets hit in that lot...HELL

You should move your car and take the little pin inside of the valve stems on his car out.

it is bad karma...

i've been douched by drivers many times. i was in class and a van backed into me...i know for a fact it was him because he was in front of me and I was only gone for so long. what is really bad about the situation, was prior to parking behind the van, i thought to myself "this asshole will probably hit me". So I gave him about 4 feet of room, which is very generious(sp?) for a parrallel parking spot. Needless to say I came back with a large crack in my bumper.

Bad pic that makes it not look as bad...
i would have found the bastard that did that, and make him pay for your bumper to get painted.

When I bought this civic 2 years ago, the body was in perfect condition. No scratches, no nothing. 2 Years of parking on a steep hill, or a dark parking lot (only options near my work) leave her like this

It looks to me like someone pulled up so close that they actually slid alongside me.

This is after I fixed most of the area. The tailight was demolished, the rear bumper was hanging 1/4" lower on that side (it's still hanging below where it should be). The panel between the taillight and bumper is still bent like crazy, and the trunk lid is compressed enough where it doesnt line up correctly when closed. Nothing major, but of course, they didn't even leave a note, and insurance isn't something I can afford to go to.

What I don't have decent shots of are the 4 foot long scratch along the passenger side door, and the innumerable scratches/dents/paintrubs along both bumpers. Not to mention a smal windshield dent and a few other battle scars.

God knows if my supra was to be treated this way in a parking lot, I'ld go ballistic on the world

I tried. I even got my boss/owner of the company involved. But we couldnt figure out who it was. He inspected everyones cars. My best guess is that it was someone coming in to fill out an app.

Even then it's a simple, I didn't do it, or I wasn't around that day, etc and the person is pretty much off the hook without cameras watching.

I found the b**** who dented my rear end. She parked next to tme the next day (almost every day), but had a huge black mark on her bumper, old infinite q45. She has no idea what I'm talking about, and the police said they can't help without witness.
