Yea, I wouldn't worry about a draft anytime soon. I'm 22 and never served, but depending on how long it takes me to get hired by a department after I graduate police academy I may join the AF reserves. Great benefits, you get to travel, and its easy, yet necessary work that lets me serve the country.

Technically, you are wrong. I'm 22, got one when I was 18, never filled it out, and haven't been arrested. I guess some of us slip through the cracks

If you don't fill out your selective service, you can also never hold a gov job. Be it FBI, CIA, DHS, Border Patrol, IRS, USPS, etc, etc, etc.

I am in the UNITED STATES Naval Reserves and I am proud to serve my country doing what I can and I have no doubts I will be heading over to Iraq. Sign the ****ing papers and stop being such a pussy.

No, it seriously pisses me off. "The azns haven't forgiven us yet..blah blah blah". Do you realize the treaty that they are in? Or how about that the US and Japan share technologies and intelligence. If I were you I would stop worrying about what the **** happened in WWII and start worrying about now. And how Korea magically comes up with all these "nuclear centers" for research purposes only. Or how Bin Laden and company are sending planes in our buildings and the Pentagon.

I totally agree with what you were saying, hopefully you understood what I meant with my last post. And about the treaty.....(and this is going to sound really dumb) didn't we own a piece of Japan up until a few years ago as part of an agreement and then gave it back? Or was it China? I'm confuzzed.
