I have sirius and like it. Don't really listen to the talk shows. It sounds like to me though that the sound quality isn't that great for some reason. Could just be me though.

ok i hope i dont get yelled at for this but oh well here goes

you buy the headunit and buy 1 month subscription for like 15 bucks.
towards the end of the subscription unplug the unit and make sure its powered down and not turned on whatsoever.

now you cancel the subscription. the way they do this is to send out a cancel beacon that'll hit your xm unit and take away the feed. if you have it unplugged and off then it wont reach it.

wait about 4-6 months then plug it back in...now you have free XM radio
