I know this topic has been beaten dead already but..

Please just research what vtec is, before asking things like this. It doesn't make sense to do this, but you should figure this out yourself. There are a lot of "how does vtec work" webpages out there. Go find one.

Yes you can not use a switch to activate vtec and get the results you need...vtec is more for fuel economy and honestly without getting your car tuned your ecu will not add the extra fuel and timing when you flip your "vtec switch" Honestly your vtec controller was a waste of money if you didn't get your car tuned there was much better ways to spend money to gain power but I'm not bashing you you just gotta live and learn, do research like Dan said and you will understand what vtec is, how it works and then realize on your own why your switch isn't going to gain you anything...
