Not always the case with ballpoint 9mm rounds. I've seen a hajii take 4 or 5 centermass hits and kept moving forward on his feet.

I guess its a good thing my XD9 can hold 16 + 1 in the pipe. Show me someone that can take 10 center mass and keep moving foward.

There is a famous news story in the firearm community where a dude took 3 or 4 hits of .45 from a trained police officer and shot back with a .22 pistol and hit a cop on one of the creases of his vest and landed a fatal wound. The perp lived the cop died. Stopping power my ass...

I am no gun expert but I shot the sig 229, a glock 9mm, an XD9 and an XD45 at a range..I liked the xd45 the best..I know it may not be the best gun but it felt the best in my hands, and I shot more accurately with it, it was the most fun for me..If I buy a gun, the ability to kill someone with it would be the last of my concerns personally since I never forsee that happening ever, so I'd get the one I enjoy to use at the range the most..XD45 is my choice, but from what I have been told the sigs are very high quality and they're price reflects it..

Well, you did the right thing. Nobody can argue with someone who finds the most comfortable gun for THEM, as you did.

the sig is a nice choice. i personally have a ruger kp345 .45cal and a
glock 27 sub-compact .40cal for carrying. my friend has the sig and loves it. can't go wrong with what you are most comfortable with.
