I have 4 accounts at Commerce. They have been great. I also have an account at Alliance...really nice people...have coffee and donuts all the time and know me by name...nice little bank.

Stay away fro soveriegn. Lots of fees...i have an account there only because i got a really good deal on my mortgage with them..otherwise they blow

Citizens Bank and PNC

I use both of 'em, both great banks! PNC helped me start credit and they have no ATM fees anywhere (like commerce). I have both because Citizens is open 7 days/week and PNC has awesome credit/checking rewards.

I go home and pay my CC bill online with 150.00 from my checkings. That leaves atleast 30.00 in there. The transfer shows up on my checking account balance but not on my CC balance.

Today Im looking at my statement and now it says i took 150 from my checking account on 3/21 and overdrew it and on 3/22 I deposited 180.00.

Now im hit with insufficient funds fees. I hate my bank, Im going to go in tomorow and demand not to pay. If they even show a hint of desire to make me pay, I will go postal. Anyone else hate their bank? Gota good one? ill need one soon
my buddy works for bank of america, call 18004426680 and hit 0, it isn't a real option it just skips the menu and puts you on the fast trac to talk to someone. they're given a daily ammount of money they can credit back to people so just be pollite and explain what happened and they'll reverse it for you

i used boa, commerce, and fmfcu. ive had a lot of problem with boa but they seem to get resolved quick. commerce sucks but my girlfriends dad takes out a lot of business loans there so they let me open an account with no proof of identity when i moved out here. fmfcu is awesome, i love them but there arn't a lot of locations and there closed sat/sun

I too was a PNC customer and switched to Commerce. I was having the same types of problems you were having Pete. I would pay my insurance on line, and later check my PNC account online. The money would say that it transferred. The next day when I would look at my account online the money wouldnt be transferred. Little weird....so I left. Ive had nothing less than a good experience at Commerce. If I say I want to deposit my check as cash, they do it no questions asked and itll be there right away.

Ive always heard that BoA blows though.

Commerce... cause I work for them.

Good place customers, bad to work at.

(they need to treat us IT people a little better).

I have wachovia and was having similar problems where I'd get hit with an overdaraft that would in an of itself take another overdraft and continue to deduct money in like a loop. I went in and got it sorted out.

I was able to get into the Philadelphia Credit Union and thats Awesome. Low rates the only down side is not many locations out of philly. I think anoyone who works in philly can join. If you do i would def recomend it.

Posting error on part of the teller. She was supposed to deposit the funds as cash, if thats what you specified and she didnt. Although if you made the deposit after 3, it wont process until the next banking day and she should have advised you of that when making the deposit. Either way, you were misinformed therefore they should reimburse any fees that you were charged, atleast thats what they do at Commerce.

I do my checking with Commerce because Im an employee and I get free checking but I have an ING savings account because the rates at Commerce BLOW.

I used to work there. They were complete dip ****s! My girlfreinds brother came home from IRAQ and had a big ceremony to get his purple heart and they wouldn't let me take a day of PTO. B/c I had to make my hours. I had to cut class to make the hours to take off. The pay was ****. The only reason I still have them is b/c they are god damn everywhere. I HATE COMMERCE BANK!

I am running my account at alliance in anticapation of commerce starting to suck...my experience has been that once they really grow it goes downhill fast.

When i started way back with main line bank they were great...then they grew and became soveriegn and now they really suck..only a matter of time before commerce blows.... but for now they are pretty good
