all GK ( 2003 + ) tiburons have dual exhaust unless the owners switch to an aftermarket single

its a shame that kid died

i saw that on the tib forum, i dont know where he was from, but once things like that happen all of a sudden every kid that drives an import car or a sports car becomes a target of the local cops

It’s always unfortunate when someone loses their life. Reminds me of the girl who was killed driving a Porsche in California a few months back – another sad story.

Again - very, very unfortunate.

Ahh, that's why. They're usually still warrantied, so I haven't gotten to play with one of em. Thanks for that.

LOL I don't know what's funnier the fact that from that pic you can identify the brand of fart pipe or you think that car can hang.... oh wait, thats right, you had to go after the basically stock ls1 making fun of the FART PIPE. Stupid hurts. I hope the caddy driver was ok.

i don't feel bad at all for the tibby driver, anyone dumb enough to street race deserves it, they know the risk and yet still do it. My only sympathy goes to the innocent cadallac driver.

Please keep you unnecessary comments to yourself. It could have easily been one of the members on this board. Whether we admit it at all or not, we have all at one point in time made a pull on the highway, gotten up to speed quickly, or flat out raced another vehicle.

Although I do not personally know Dan, it still hits close to home. We are all part of the same community and are joined together by our love for automobiles. I was / still am part of the Tiburon community so it puts everything in a somber state. The unfortunate part is that I see these types of threads every couple of weeks on SRTforums.com. We all need to remember to drive safely and keep it to the track.

So please everyone keep your negative remarks to yourselves and be respectful of his family.

i completely respect where you are coming from. A month or so ago, a kid from Club RSX slid down a hill and crashed and him and his brother passed away also the person in the other car.

I understand that it was stupid for him to race but, seriously everyone has done it before. So people need to keep their comments to themselves because it could of been a close friend

yeah, very wreckless but the kid was 17, i was pretty irresponsible when i was his age ( not to the point of street racing in traffic, but i did a lot of weaving and speeding regardless )

it's really sad the somebody died, i just wish people would take these storys serious and not do wreckless stuff like that

Wow.

This shows a lot of members true colors.

It's unfortunate any way you look at it.

Right a tiberon is one hell of an upgrade to a ls1 camaro in terms of performance. The white trash cars are not gods gift to earth but they are in the performance world about the best bang for the buck. I won't call you out because on this board it's all just talk anyway.

Drew, face it unless if that Tib was running 12's, which I don't think it was it wasn't going to be walking all over a stock LS1. Stock LS1's are very cabable of running low 13's. Either way both of you stop getting into a pissing contest. This thread was about a car enthusiest who passed away.
