that's not true at all. theres deadly accidents all the time where noone is charged with anything. as long as you stay at the scene, cooperate, and you did nothing negligent theres no "penalty"

Come on, if it was in fact an accident, can you even amagine how bad she must feel already. i hope myself or anyone i know never has to feel that remorse. I get sick if i hit an animal. .02

im in no way saying that she did it on purpose but it would seem to me that she had at least some chance to avoid the accident. whether it be slowing down when she sees flashing lights, braking or swerving. from the article that was posted it doesnt seem she did all in her power to avoid the accident..but i wasnt there so i dont know. just stirring up converstation

i see what you mean, but its not like she hit the CAR.. just because the car is in a certain spot doesnt indicate where the officer is. he could have been in the middle of the road, on the shoulder, in the car,.. who knows. he apparantly wasnt wearing any kind of reflector vest either, which i assume cops have for when they need to stand on a highway in the middle of the night.

im sure the police who responded to the scene didnt make up excuses for her either.. so if the report indicates that she couldnt have avoided this,.. how can you doubt it?

this is nothing more than an unfortunate accident.

He should have parked his car in the road with his lights on and used it as a shield while he drug the deer off the road. She would have seen his car and stopped. If not she would have hit his car and not him. But hindsight is always 20/20

Just my $.02
