It sounds like you get yearly EKGs which is great. Just stop with the Caffine. No big deal. I tell all my patients with irregular beats to just eat an apple or orange in the morning. Just for a week, if you dont feel 110% better by the end of the week Ill mail you a check for the cost of the fruit.

Get a good nights sleep, eat a piece of fruit when you wake up, dont wake up 13 minutes before work. Your body needs time to wake up in the morning. I usually set my alarm a full hour before im supposed to wake up and just sit on the floor in the shower eating a orange .

Of course that means I get an average of 3 hours a sleep a night lol.

Wow. so youre saying the old "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" holds some truth, huh? I will definatly give that a try and I WILL expect a check in the mail if it doesnt work . And I TOTALLY know what you mean about giving my body time to wake up in the morning, when ever I rush around and get to work half asleep I feel like **** all day.....definatly more on edge.

Im really digging all this medical advise, I am TERRIFIED of Doctors and only consult with mine but once a year, usually during my heart tests. All this info is WAY helpful. Thanks!

yea the slopes are getting crowded with inexperienced riders, combine that with icy conditions and you have a recipe for disaster. monday at blue mountain i had to bail a few times because slow pokes in front of me werent paying attention and just cut me off. as far as running into trees, i myself dont understand that one. its not like a tree just jumps out in front of you, they arent hard to miss, jus bail if you need to. yea it'll hurt but its better than plowing a tree.

drift is right on about not waking up 15 min before wake, even if you don't get a good nights sleep it will help to wake up a good hour before work and just take a nice long shower to wake up, dont skip breakfast either


kind of funny you mentioned you eat an orange in the shower, i almost always eat an apple in the shower and then brush my teeth haha

first off, you work at AAA so don't even act like you know what we can and cannot talk about without violating HIPPA. second, i'm an EMT with springfield ambulance, look me up if you want. third, i'm just a tech at this hospital, you can ask LJ (guerillaunit, he works here with me) anything you would like to know about the place and what gets talked about, i have no reason to lie about **** here. my job is easy as hell, i do jack **** and spend a good 50% of my time at work right here on the computer trying to kill time, anyone that comes here is welcome to come see for their self. everyone knows what a cake job this is and everyone wants it simply because we don't have **** to do most of the day and just sit here waiting for pages... just like the paramedics lmao

but whatever, think what you want cause i really don't have to prove myself to you or anyone else on here, people that know me personally know what i'm about and that's all i give a **** about

drift, can you tell me what kind of patient would be getting nss + .45d w/ 20k ? i just made my second run to one of the nursing floors with a case ( 12bg case from hospira ) they must have multiple people on continues flow to be going through so much, i've never had to put a special order in for a courier for that ish before.. so yeah, who the christ would be getting it?

don't take it to heart man, i didn't say working at AAA was a ****ty job, i simply said you don't know about HIPPA ( the rules/laws we have to follow about disclosing patient information ) you can assume you make more than me all you want, but i'm sure you don't, i have a full time and part time job, aswell as most of my tuition covered by the gov. ( either way, who gives a ****, you know? )


as for drift, who cares either way man? why call someone out online that's just childish. i believe everything he says, i know what hospital he works at and am 90% sure they get more of the trauma patients in that area. as for what he can say about them... we can say quite a bit, aslong as we don't say something that gives away info that could identify them

such as, i can say we had a girl come in with a broken leg, but i can't say we had a 19 year old girl come in from villanova with a fractured femur ( all hypothetical stuff )

but anyways, back to the point, who cares man? it's just internet no need to get pissed about it, at the end of the day nothing posted here maters so why get upset about it?
