Both will work just as good on that machine. XP pro if you go that route because i believe it includes more drivers with it.

xp pro has more administrative features, that's basically it. 99% of the time favoring pro over home is an aesthetical choice (ie: seeing XP Home vs XP Professional on the startbar)
