I believe the signs along the highway all state "Drive Right, Pass Left". If everyone followed that I would not have any problems!

That's one reason I don't keep the HK in the car with me. I'd be in jail sofa king fast it wouldn't be funny.

I try to just relax and not sweat it. Most of the time it works, unless I'm running late, then it just makes me nuts.

I've been dabbling with the idea of putting red and blue police lights on my car. Or at least strobe lights so people can get out of the way when I drive on the highway.

But, when people don't move, I'm usually nice. I don't tailgate for obvious reason (hint: it's dangerous and retarded). If they don't move into the right lane, I simply pass them in the right lane, and then speed away in the left lane.

edit: And guys, no one is a perfect driver. We blast other people for driving poorly, but I'm sure everyone on this thread and forum has done something stupid while driving. And that includes me.

How about people that veer to the left just before making a right turn as if their driving a god damned school bus?

Most of the idiots i see driving in Rhode Island. People can merge, maintain speeds, obey right of way laws, use turn signals.....all the basics taught in drivers education. I swear, once I take over this state, im forcing everyone to take the drivers education courses again.

The new trend I have noticed over the past few days is people without any lights on! I saw it the other day on RT 1, and today on 476. Both times it was 6:00PM, so it was pretty damn dark. I honked at the girl in the Accord on 476 today every time she passed me or I passed her, but she seemed to be in another world (hence no lights on).

That's because they don't give these soccer moms driving lessons when they start driving a Tahoe/Escalade/Hummer/"Insert Retarded SUV needed to transport two children here" before they hit the road with them.

That's also why 9/10 times, I avoid parking next to them like the mother effing plauge. Since you know they're gonna clip someone backing that beast out, I'd rather it not be me.

Always a problem for me. My truck tops out at 68mph (Ryder governs the damned things.) and I had it pegged (at 68) and some douchehat from New Jersey in a minivan decided hes going to pass me, get 5 feet in front of me, then slow down. I pass (still have it to the floor) and give him plenty of room, so he speeds past me, cuts me off, then slows down. Dumb **** does this AT LEAST halfway from Scranton to Wilkes-Barre, probably about 10 miles or so, so I stayed in the left lane after that.

I've had almost every stupid driver experience imaginable, considering I drive 300-400 miles a day through both city and highway. Yesterday I had a great one, some old man ran a red light to make a left turn and hit my left side while I was on my way to work, so I was in a great mood. At midnight I had a shot for my left side that was in mint condidion when I left the house in the morning.

95 percent of handicap drivers, when i see a handi cap plate i know i need to get ready to slow down 10 under or pass. just cuz ur handicapped dont mean u should be afraid of driving normal speed.

dont even get me started on old drivers

There are a few things you learn to look for because someone is going to **** up your day.
1) Any full sized sedan with a driver so short that you can't see them
2) Any full sized sedan with a passenger wearing a fedora hat. That's probably the driver's 90 year-old father who won't stop bitching at them to slow down (from 10 under the speed limit)
3) Any full sized sedan where all you can see is the driver's knuckles on the top of the steering wheel because they have to drive through the area between the top of the steering wheel and the dash
4) Any car wearing Massachusetts plates
5) Any SUV with a soccer ball decal somewhere on the paint.
6) Any pickup truck with a pissing Calvin sticker, or truck nuts.
7) Any clapped out 80s sedan with more than 1 "SUNOCO: The Official Fuel of NASCAR" decal (sometimes used to hold body panels together or cover rust holes the size of a human liver). They think they're qualifying to drive Dale Ernhardt's hearse.
8) (in Pennsylvania) Any car with New Jersey or New York tags.
9) (in New Jersey) Any car with Pennsylvania tags, they don't know how to operate jughandles.
10) (in New York) Any car with Pennsylvania tags, they're lost. They have no idea what the **** is going on. Let them through.
11) Any motorcycle. If its a crotch rocket, he's going to pass you at a high rate of speed and not use any turn signals for the next eleventy miles. If it's a Hairy Dicksyndrome (only applies to bikes with loud pipes, and most riders wearing a helmet with more than 6 offensive stickers), he's carrying a gun. And pissed off. Don't look him in the eyes (especially true if there's a yellow patch on his vest or he is wearing colors).
12) Any 18-wheeler with me driving. I'm pissed off and carrying a gun.
13) Any car with a Super Street or "Pep Boy's" racing sticker. He doesn't know how to drive in traffic and will hit whatever is in front of him.
14) School busses. Every kid you hit is worth 50 points.
15) Any vehicle with greek letters on it. The driver is retarded (with rich parents), which is why they joined a fraternity in the first place.
16) Any vehicle towing a UHAUL trailer on the highway with a sticker plastered on it that states "MAX SPEED 45 MPH". They've never driven with a trailer in their life, they're going to swerve back and forth in that lane until they get off the highway, unless they hit something next to them or put it in the ditch first.
17) The Taliban. They drive a black Navigator with New York tags. I wish I had a camera when I saw this, because I'm not ****ing aroung with this one.
18) Any full-sized SUV. Especially Escalades with Jersey tags that tailgate you for 10 miles before passing you. They'll try to run you off a bridge if you tell them that they're "#1".
19) Speeding Corvettes. Driver forgot to take his Geritol this morning, and is late to pick his girlfriend up from high school detention.
/rant. I hate my job.

This is 100% true.

You forgot to mention however, Hyundai Sonatas (are speeding more often than not… I don’t know why) and of course SUVs. I’ve had SUVs seriously try and tail me in the turns (WTF?!) And usually, the SUVs are quipped with big rims, which severely reduce stopping power.

Richboro sucks

I recently moved to Warminster from NJ and drive through Richboro on a daily basis - wow what an annoyance. For some reason once you get to richboro from 332 and go on 232, people will not go the speed limit even in perfect conditions, yet before they reach 232 they were going 5 over. Could someone explain to me what that's about? It is really annoying as a Jersey driver, in fact trying to get used to the slower driving has been difficult for me. Oh the left lane thing is the golden rule in NJ and it is a huge pain for NJ drivers that some PA drivers don't understand that the keep right pass left rule applies to most roads, not just highways. The roads there are very outdated so if you clog the left lane, you are impeding all traffic. Also, technically you're doing nothing wrong by doing the speed limit in the left lane but unless you didn't notice, we live in the tri-state area where everyone else generally goes 5 mph OVER the speed limit. So you're not breaking any rules but you are really lacking in consideration of other people who may have somewhere to go or are simply more skilled than you are behind the wheel. It's also a sign of lazy driving because the right lane has people merging on and getting off the road. Ok that's my piece. Peace.

When people dont signal. Especially when if they signaled that they were turning I could have also turned instead of sitting in the intersection like a jackass.
