McNabb = Over rated

McNabb took the Eagles to 3 NFC championship games without having a single #1 receiver or a strong running game. He's thrown no more than 13 INTs in a single season, averaging less than 10. And he averages more than 6yds per play both when passing and when running.

What more do you want out of the guy? Sure, he's a dork. That Robot dance on TV was the most pathetic thing ive ever seen.

While he was healthy, McNabb was arguably playing better football than any QB in the league save maybe Peyton Manning. Had he finished the season, he would have easily made the pro bowl (Tony Romo, are you kidding me?) and been in the running for league MVP.

Call McNabb whatever you want, but this city will miss him when he is gone. Five more years of Rodney Peete, Ty Detmer, Doug Peterson, and Bobby Hoying should be enough to make you guys realize how great it is having a game changer like Donovan around.

I couldnt of said it better myself. He's had his ups and downs, but after Sandy said all that I researched some stats throughout his career.. and his numbers are beyond impressive. Over-rated, no. Bad under pressure? Yes. He'll get through it.. believe it or not he is still young and has many years left to play this game. I garuntee if we don't go far in the playoffs this year, a healthy McNabb will take the eagles to the big game next year.

The question is, do they choke in the first game against the Giants, or the second agains the Seahwaks/Cowboys, or the third against the Bears/Ravens, or in the NFC Championship, or in the Superbowl.

It's not a matter of IF they choke, but WHEN.

I've lived here 6 years, met lots of Eagles fans, fully understand why God will never let you folks have a championship, and sit back and wait to see WHEN they will choke.

Very well put, although he may have been in the running for mvp i dont think anyone could take it away from LT (he did get it didnt he?)
