"This car is almost as fun as the RX-7. It's like a cheap lotus elise. IMHO you can't find another car that could out handle or is more fun than this one without spending over 10k or seriously losing the drivability of that car".

I am really going to have to disagree with you there, on a couple of things, first off I say a mk2 toyota mr2 handles alot better, i have owned three, the one i just picked up from georgia two weeks ago is turbo duece, stock it pulls higher skidpad, slalom numbers, and alot better braking, and like a Lotus Elise it has a MR layout. I cant imagine understeer being so much fun. I have owned a coupe integras, and driven countless friends civic's with suspension/engine mods, and it has nothing on hearing the turbo spool up behind you, and the thrill that a mid engine car has to offer. If anything the lotus elise is an expensive version of a mr2.

I'm saying that it's a great car for the price. There is no way that you could build a mr2 for less than what I paid for this. I have about 5k total in it right now. That's alot of bang for your buck. This car is a great handling car given that it is my daily driver. My rx-7 was alot better but that also cost over 30k to build. I driven plenty of rear engine cars. My brother used to have a stageII porsche 996TT. Try two turbo's, 500hp, 4wd, and over 200mph.

Some gay guy. I moved the car as soon as he got there. Didn't want the hatch next to that beater

clean, civics are fun cars, but for efficency and power, a turbo D is better. You can boost the hell out of it and blowing an engine is only a $500 repair at most. Either way it gets a  from me.

My first civic was a turbo D. Can't beat blowing up an engine and buying another one for 300$. I thought I would try to do a B series this time because the trannies are way better and they are just cool. The differnce between a b16 tranny and a d16 tranny is like night and day. B16 trannies are pretty nutty. I'm at 5000rpm's at 80mph
