UCLA Student Gets Tazed Several Times By Campus Security For Not Having ID

i herd that he was a liberal protester from a protest they were having outside and he and a few other protesters ran into the library and the security folowed them in and id'ed them then asked them to leave and thats when the camera was turned on..not sure if its the truth but thats the story that i herd

People crack me up.

I hear multiple whiney assed kids asking for badge numbers. I also heard the kid say "I got tazed for no reason", which is false. He got tazed because he failed to follow verbal commands.

Nothing is going to happen to those cops other than perhaps sensitivity training, and ONLY because they tazed the kid 4-5 times. If they had stuck with one or two times, nothing at all would happen.

People, if you hear $AUTHORITY_FIGURE say do $X or you're going to be tazed. DO IT. You can bitch about it later all you want to whatever authorities that will listen to you. However, if you don't do it, your ass is going to be tazed on the spot.

For the purposes of the previous statement, AUTHORITY_FIGURE=Local, State or Federal Police, private security officers, National Guard/Reserve/Active duty Soldiers/Sailors/Airmen/Marines that have been empowered via a state or national emergency, etc.

Thats why i ****in hate anyone who abuses there powes of being anyone with a badge.. its ****in stupid how people think they can do that.. so what the student be at fault or the rent a ***s. if he was comlying with leaving then they ****in should of left it at that or whatever.. but tazing someone repetatly and expecting him to get up, now thats just ****in stupid.. yes so what its not as strong or whatever that was stated before. but im sure after a few shots over and over agian, it takes a tole onyou. and yes could make it difficult to get up under your own power. i feel that, the student should take them to court not only for money but the satsifacton to show the fluckers they were in the wrong
Also the person who recorded this sucked ass.. IMO if i were the one with the camera i would of tried a little harder to get the best shot possible knowing this this wasnt something small and could of been vital in court or wherever... as u could also see or mosly hear in the video that he was tazed mutipul times when they turned the corner with not many students around.. the student deserving it IMO no. they did it just because they are over powered ****ers.. yes im being very bias towards the student. but iv seen in my life way to many cops/security guards take there autporty way out of line. bottem line is id take those ****ers to court to show they cant ****in so **** like that.. yes they have to do there job but not make a huge mess like that. rant /!

law suit? a cop instructed him to stand up 10 times, the kid was being a dick and was fighting them, so he got tazed. then ticketed for resisting arrest. if you can watch that video and say he wasnt laying on the ground and not leaving the building and saying to sue, WTF is wrong with you.

and why cant people buy a new cam corder. was that thing from 1980 wow!

he could of left after the first time. would of been 1 time being tazed. after being tazed once you are more than capable or getting up in a matter of seconds.

He was asked to either 1. produce a valid student ID which would mean he was entitled to be there, or 2. leave.

He did neither. That's when campus security called the PD. He then resisted arrest.

This kid doesn't have a leg to stand on if he's thinking about suing. All those other students standing around shouting about badge numbers need to STFU and GBTS too.

If he had simply got up and left since he didn't have his ID with him, this never would have happened. End of story.

Either way those officers did not handle the situation very well. Tazing the kid that many times did not seem necessary. They could have easily physically remove the kid from the building.

The school is going to catch a whole load of crap for all of those. I would not be surprised if these officers don't have their jobs when all is said and done.

I wonder if anyone thought to call the real cops? Or was he being tazed by actual cops?

point taken up to the point where we have no idea because the ****ty person that recorded this. we have proof that he was give an fair chance to get his ID or prove other wise he was a student there???? via schedule or verbal confermation with a administrative person? no we dont know that. secondly we also dont know that he resisted arrest until after they tazed him i think once or twice. cant really tell bc he screamed like a girl. It's becoming common police doctrine to taze subjects who fail to follow instructions. If they try to overpower you, that causes a struggle, where either the subject or the officers are much more likely to be injured. If they taze you, you generally go along peacefully.

The school's security officer followed procedure by calling the PD. Doubtful that any action will be taken against the officers regarding this. If it were truly a case of the kid being tazed for no reason, sure, but....he resisted arrest.

If you read the report, it says that campus security was checking IDs because it was after 11pm, which means it's unlikely anyone in school administration would be present to check records.

Bottom line is that the kid was an asshat with a chip on his shoulder and got what he asked for.
