Midget Town, NJ. I think that the road is even painted yellow....like in the Wizard of Oz.

thanks for all the feedback! I figured the place wouldn't be scary, just kind of weird to check out. Now im not sure if we want to drive a little over an hour to get there and end up blowing a friday night. I'm going to start looking around for something a little closer to berks county.

We should just get a copy of "Weird P.A. + Weird N.J" and just go though them at meets...and then take them on one at a time like some Mythbusters business.

i'm definitly down for doing something creepy, or just different, it could be centralia, or something else. i love the wierd nj/pa books, so if we can get a group to check that stuff out, i'd be down. i heard there is an abandoned portion of the pa turnpike with some tunnels, i think that would be pretty neat. here is a link: http://www.pahighways.com/toll/abandonedturnpike.html

I dont know if we are talking about the same place Joe, but I know there is another road that is abandoned near 422? Like they started the highway and just never finished it.

Centralia isn't that dramatic of a place to go for "ghost hunting". The people mostly just moved out, there are still a couple left that live in decent places. They are normal people though. I'm probably going riding (atv's) there in a couple weeks.

That abandoned turnpike link looks interesting, however, not very "scary". You can never go wrong with byberry though!

I go through there at least 3-4 times a year. Its on the way to my cabin. I dont really know much about it though besides its abadoned, and that the ground is falling through in a lot of places due to the underground coal fire.

I know of a midget village right off of ahhh street rd, and davisville, i have been there a few times, and it really is a midget ville. no lie. its back in the woods. maybe il go again sometime soon and snap some pics.
