after speaking with andy tonite.. im definitely going with the .83 30r. ... he also said i could run that "all day" on the stock block... so yea.. awesome.

Indeed you can, but if you have the money, why chance it. If you are having the car painted, putting on a rotated kit, and getting it tuned, budget an extra $1-1.5k and put in a set of forged pistons, new rod bearings, and have it put together properly. You will never regret having a safety net when you want to push it, you will regret popping a ringland and having the car down and a larger bill because you wanted to save a few bucks now. If nothing else, the difference in having a nice balanced engine with strong pistons will help improve your end results.

Oh, and I'm not sure if anyone mentioned it, but i would go for a GT30r rotated mount kit, in a .82ar.
