i really dislike the styling of the new 3 series. I'd go with a used e46 M3 instead

I don't really like them that much in the "performance" aspect, but I think I'm going to buy my girlfriend (aka MYSELF) one of them just to toy around in. They are cool little cars.

cool dude, you might as well buy a monza and throw a big block in there

How you can compare a 69 nova to a "luxury/sports" car is beyond me.

The 335 starts at $40K. Add AWD and the little things and it'll get up there. Plus the maintainance and upkeep cost a ton compared to a Mitsubishi.

I guess you didn't read the part about the twin turbo and the new AWD system

with a straight 6, twin turbos, awd, and a two door, sounds like bmw's rendition of a skyline. and its probably twice as heavy as an sti or evo, thus making it not even close to either one seeing as they have roughly the same hp with less weight. its got some nice body lines tho and i bet the ride is smooth

you guys need to learn to read.

the article is about SEVERAL different models.

let me lay it out for you...

335i ... twin turbo

Quote:
Under the hood of the 335i Coupe is an inline 6-cylinder engine with high precision injection and twin-turbo chargers, giving you 300 horses of heart-pounding power and class-leading 300 ft. lbs. of torque.
328i 328xi .....I6 230hp

Quote:
The 328i and 328xi Coupes are just as impressive, featuring a more powerful and fuel efficient, inline 6-cylinder engine with Valvetronic. This new engine produces 230 horsepower and 200 ft. lbs. of torque. But because of its inline orientation of cylinders there are fewer vibrations, which means a smoother ride for you.
with bmw's.. x= awd. why would they change their naming conventions for 1 car?

If you go to the Features and scroll to the Handling section, it says that it doesnt have awd. Only the 328xi has awd, with only 230 hp and no twin turbo.

10,000 dollars isnt usually a trivial difference for most people buying cars. i realize a lot of kids on here are well off and dont really understand the concept of money, but for us normal people, $10k is a significant difference.

and i highly doubt you get much for that 40k

No offense to anyone intended . . . but Mitsubishi/Subaru doesn't even belong in the same sentence with BMW. I love Evos WRXs STIs But when did those cars become the standard for the industry?
