Yeah...by making us pay $8-$12 a pop to see it. Bullshiat.

Fork that. Boycott.
I'd see it, for free, or if there was a statement made that ALL ticket sales will go towards whichever fund has been put in place to help the families, help NYC rebuilt, help the NYPDs and NYFDs. If NONE of the ticket $$ finds its way into the pockets of the producers, directors, actors, anyone that had ANYTHING to do with the film. I will gladly go see it.

But we know, that wont happen

DUH! This is America, right? Only in a civilized and caring country with low-level capitolism may do that.

Yeah but where do you draw the line? Is there a set mount of time that has to pass before a movie can be made? Think of Titanic, Saving Private Ryan, Schindlers List, Munich, Jar Head, a number of Vietnam movies, the made for TV movie Flight 93 and the most dispicable Fahrenheit 9/11? All of these movies are accounts of real life events that effected hundreds of thousands to millions. I am not saying i am condoning them making a movie about a trajic event for profit but atleast they are attempting to show the heroism that went on that day. Unlike Michael Moore who just wanted to place blame and insult the memory of everyone who was lost that day. Where is your anger towards that film, many, I hope no present company, celebrate that film and the creator as a great piece of work and a true american.

Out of respect for the affected, yes I believe there should be. It shouldn't need to be regulated by any lawful body though. Let your moral compass be your guide.

Trouble is, when money is concerned, morality is the first cut of the budget.

If they want to make a movie of it, truly I am fine with that, I exercise my right to not go see it as they have exercised theirs to make it. What I take issue with is when those same people go around stating it is for anything other than what it really is: a vehicle to make money for the producer et al.

It's in another thread! Don't even get me started on that egotistical fat bastard. He is so worried about where everyone else's money is going and can't see that he is just a hypocritical jerk. He could DIAF for all I care...

How did they link that video and the phone call together?

I think both things are real, but him saying "Oh God, Oh.." doesn't signfiy the falling of the building.

My Dad is a airline Pilot, went to work the morning of 9/11. My Dad flies out of Newark NJ, took off behinde one of the planes that crashed. My Dad was in the air, nobody could/would tell him anything execpt to keep the ****pit locked and fly to Flordia.

Crazy.

If this movie tanks then they may think twice next time about relesing something that could bring strong feelings from the public. But as you stated, it is hollywood, land of the double talkers. They are playing on emotion, just as they did with Passion of the Christ... and it brings in money. We are doing exactly what they had hoped for, discussing their movie, its the best advertisement they can get, free and plentiful. Even if we dont go see it in the theater, most of us will rent it or buy it plus we are introducing it to other who may not have heard about it, so they win.

For the record i wont be going to see it. Im just playing a bit of devils advocate cause im bored at work and wanted something interestign to do.

I didn't clink the link to the video. I don't wanna hear it. I know what it's gonna say. I don't think they should of released any of the conversations between those people that day.

I have it different than the rest of you. I'm there (nyc, wtc) 5 days a week. I 'm working on the 7 world trade center reconstruction. I really don't care about what should be done. Nothing is EVER going to be done about the people who caused the attacks. THey will NEVER replace what was lost. The city will NEVER be the same.

9/11 Will always be a found memory to me.

I had taken the day off of class to help my dad load a 18-Wheeler full of fashion show crap.

My mom called when I was in the middle of walking out of the warehouse and was screaming something about it being world war 3. I promptly hung up on her.

My brother was goofing off and I remember my dad smacking him in the head, that was the last time my dad hit my brother.

Thats why i remember it so well.
