It would be fun to make it a TST project car. Especially because it can be worked on all winter (my garage has natural gas ceiling heaters). However, to run in Spec Miata one needs a SCCA License which means TIME FOR RACING SCHOOL! I am thinking Skip Barber 3 day school...anyone done one of these before or has anyone done the SCCA schools? (it seems like this post is getting a little off track )

My buddy did a 2 day course, and the intro to racing 3 hour course and loved it. The two of us did the SRT Track Experience (what a killer bargain!)

I intend to take some courses as well when I get some $$$$(cha-ching). But you can go through 2-4k taking the courses required to get the SCCA license, something I don't have to spend just yet.

I'll be happy hitting the autocross course and doing that in the super Omni till I have the money to go after the license AND Stunt School. ;)

Good to hear...I'm now planning on taking one in late August and then build my SCCA racecar. Should be a fun time!
