exactly, by no means would I rather go there than the run. I just wish I could do both.

Its not gay at all. If they posted the address to meet at, anybody could show up and follow along.

If they followed along without all of the warnings, radios, and knowledge that the rest of the group had, they would become a danger to everyone, and have a great chance of wrecking themselves or more importantly somebody else!

If you wanna look, PM craig and he can find you a car to ride along in! Co-drivers are always welcome and often needed!

Craig, you get two of these, man.

It was very well planned and coordinated. That was the first “run” I’ve been on and I had a great time. Everyone in the group did great job. I’d like to give a shout out to the co-drivers who were manning the radios and helping to navigate. Your help was much appreciated.

This was definitely a success.

There was a guy named Andy with a Camaro that volunteered to take pics along the way.. He will be posting his up soon.

I am officially retiring this route and will come up with a new one if I am to do bucks again. The first part was brutal today with all the traffic. But then end was well worth it. The Evo behind me did the most beautiful AWD drift around a corner I have seen on the street.

Next year I am doing a run out in Amish Country for TST..

Sorry I missed this one Craig. I wanted to do it so badly and tried the best I could, but did not make it. I always looked forward to your runs and I hope me signing up didn't stop anyone else from going. Sorry

So youre saying that just because I dont drive an EVO and dont have a police radio im a worse driver than others in the group? That makes no sense at all. Sure there are some assholes out there that cant drive for their lives and always try to impress someone, but maybe Craig should have at least said (non evo owners PM me for participation) instead of automaticaly cutting them out. Maybe I would have come to the meet but not the cruise

CleanNeon98, you are not being labeled as a bad driver. The radio is not simply for police, it is to warn of traffic on the roadways and any other hazards that could en-danger the participants and non-participants (the traffic). The radios are a safety device used to cut down on some of the risk of engaging in this type of run. I don't think you should take offense to this because he's trying to run this event as safely and as smoothly as possible.

This was intended to be an Evo only meet, so non-Evo owner participation would be expected to be minimal. If you hear S2Ki is having a meet at a certain place, you wouldn't expect Evos or 350Zs to be rolling up to that location as well, would you?

I don't mean this as any disrespect to you, I'm just trying to get rid of some of the gray areas that seem to be present. Perhaps the leader of the run could respond to some of your thoughts better, but I think this covers it to a decent extent.

Im personally not taking offense, but I think there are some other people here that might have wanted to come. Besides how dumb do you have to be to not follow the flow of EVOs on the road. If they hear of an accident ahead and turn somewhere, you have to be a complete dickhead not to see them and follow. The fact that they wanted it to be EVO exclusive run I can understand, but people here (most) are smart enough to come and see, and when you go on your evo exclusive run to not go...at least thats me.

The radios are to warn of people on the roadway. Perhaps there's a specific turn that you'd like to have some fun on, if there are cars coming, one would radio ahead to the others and warn them. This makes the environment safer for all those involed (not completely safe though). You do not want to put an innocent driver in a dangerous situation so the radios help prevent this from taking place.

So me following the crew and doing what they do inch per inch makes me dangerous to them? You didnt understand what I was saying.

no, YOU are not picking up what HE is saying. stop crying, this is an evo only event for a reason. craig organizes others that include everyone. just relax and get in on the fall run and drop it already.

I'm pretty sure I did understand... but I guess not. Sometimes you wouldn't always be following, you'd be alone at some point and that is when the radio is CRUCIAL (if this is like other runs I've participated in). It's just a safety issue, that's all.

For those that wanted pics. Ended up being 6 cars only but was not that bad because we could turn up the heat a little and not loose eachother.
