i'd like to try to get good quality footage, which means planning ahead and getting to 'work' when its time to film. that means the cameraman is the boss, and its important that you do what he says when he says it in order to get the shot.
whether its some dirt driving, windy back roads, or just one of the meets, lets try to get creative here and think of some stuff thats really worth filming.
if anyone has any idea for what or where to go, either post it up or pm spillllll about it if you'd prefer. we're looking for good locations and good driving here, not the same run of the mill stuff you see in every run of the mill internet car video out there.
and spilllllll, of course if you have any ideas on some creative filming that would be great too. i have a stickypod if you can make use of that to do some filming from outside of the car, it does look pretty neat.

Tell me what you guys think about this.. Behind the airport there is a stretch of roadway with some really nice long sweeper turns feeding into a very long straight with side road access for awhile..I try to go there sunday afternoons with the bike and there is plenty of room for me to top it out if I wanted. Ontop of that the airplaces landing/taking off would be a great backdrop, along with the sunset..It is usually pretty empty around this time..Mabye set up 2 or 3 guys with cameras from different vantage points and do parade type stuff of even singled out..This plan could work perfectly with a few sets of walkie talkies..

I would like to be involved. I can do some filming too. I have a Canon GL2 that collects dust. I would like to put it to some use if its something you need and would also like to be in some of the shots too..

petey - that stretch of road definatly sounds like a good option, i think we can defiantly spend a little time there. lets try to set a bunch of locations in the philly area, so we can move one to the other within a decent amount of time
