Because I won't get the degree if I switch to part time. I really really could use the degree in case this profession somehow ends up going nowhere, other places look for that piece of paper.

Yes, before I got hit by a car in 10th grade, had a cleaning accident in 11th(or end of 10th) grade, and found out that I have a severe spinal injury from whiplash that I didn't even know I had. (Could have been from one accident recently where some chick flew out of a bar at 2am and railed my front end, or could be from a 9th grade head on collision where I had many injuries from).

I can't pass any sort of the kind of tasks they ask to do. My knee will collapse under a lot of strain, so I have to be able to take a break on it. I have my wrist back to about 75% functionality (slit the nerves, missed only the artery and scored the bone cause I tried to catch a lamp. Long story), and my back is just killer. I honestly wouldn't make it.

A 4 point speeding ticket that's almost a year old now, and 2 not-at-fault accidents. 1 involving a woman at 2am hitting me at about 50ish and almost totalling my car, andother with a guy in a truck hitting me in a parking lot. While I was parked. And about to get out.

I never said that. I said that I can't deal with military options. It won't work for me and they don't find me useful.

Does anyone know about personal loans? If you need proof of income or what not. I'd rather have 1 thing being paid back monthly than 50. If I could get one to just knock out a few pieces of my debt, it'd be good.

(And no, there's only 3k or so in credit cards, and that's in debate at the moment who used most of it, since my parents like to use my cards)

The way the house sits right now, there is on way I could. It's in mid-destruction/construction.

Clint, if you are this hard up for money did you try maybe selling the Saturn for a beater? Or maybe stop putting in money for the project for now?

I've thought about selling it for a beater, but every beater I find is actually worse on gas mileage, hahaha.

I've stopped putting money into it a bit ago, other than gas. Like I said, friends have actually bought me parts just to keep the car as an "in progress" thing.

Dude, forget about bankruptcy, it should be only used as a last last resort, and it doesn't sound like you are there to me. If you said you need to make $500 a week to meet your bills, that might be a different story. As others have said, $200/week should be no problem, even at a basic entry level job.

Get the degree and keep your head up in the meantime. It might be stressful right now, but you'll get thru it.

Good luck.

"Good chance...that I suck at life" :p had to finish the title

Don't feel bad, my ex got into 100k debt buying crap. But hey, at least she has enough clothing and anime to last her a number of months.

$200/wk is easy to make....

It all seems trivial to people, but I have a bad habit of picking the wrong companies to work for, hahahaha

and obviously made some bad decision concerning where you spent your paycheck. Unless that debt is in student loans, get another p/t job. 200/wk is easy to make for anyone.

Try out AAA. You will make much more than $200 a week even if you work part-time. I believe starting pay is around $13 an hour.

Yeah, like engagement rings for stupid women that "lose" them after she sleeps with someone else and leaves you.

ouch! I know how you feel. I moved back in with parents to pay off some of my debt but most of that was the 150k from school loans...

Now I am a 28yr old computer geek without a girl living in my parent's basement... wow I am a looser!
