Wow such a sad story. I'm glad that the family at least received compensation for their loss. Such a shame, but that salesman should have never been hired and should have never driven the car. I would never let a salesman drive me around on a test drive. Thanks for sharing the update! I almost went here to purchase a car years ago, now I'm glad I didn't!

I tried to buy several cars there on several occasions. Each time they busted my balls. I was well dressed (came from work), had a clean, low mileage 2008 Spec V (good asset) but they always treated me like I was just out for a joy ride. They also low balled me on my Spec V by about 15% (compared to the average of 9 other dealers). They require you to have an approved loan before you drive anything. They will not drive anything for you.

I stopped in there with my approved loan, was told the salesman was picking up a car and would be back in 10 minutes. 15 minutes later the secretary says he's on his way and scans my insurance/license, I wait another 15 minutes and the guy walks in. He's obviously upset about something and wasn't happy to see a customer. I showed him my approved loan and he said it had to be from one of his banks. I told him I was ready to buy and he snapped back with "We're not going to take a car out just so you can joy ride!".

I drove up the street to Lancaster County Motors and spent $30k.

My brother looked at several cars there 2-3 years ago. I went along once or twice. Bunch of idiots from what I remember. Glad he didn't give them any money.

When I went there, they treated me great. I'm not in any way defending them, it is just a sign of how things can change. I called ahead telling them I am interested in Evos and STis and wanted to come down. I went there as an 18 y/o kid in a straight piped 01 Ws6 with 3 friends and test drove both an Evo & STi. They honestly offered me a great trade-in price for my Ws6 ($11k) and I was close to making a deal but didn't, I wasn't ready to pay what they wanted for the Evo 8 ($16,500). I then sold my T/A privately for $9.5k and bought a different 03 Evo for $10k.

Jokes on you, it's the same company lol. Also, I test drove tons of cars there around the same time as you with absolutely no loan and I didnt use their bank either.

I don't think so.

I bought my Spec V from the LCM on the corner (beside Imports of LC). That's the lot they use for higher mileage cars typically (even though my Spec only had 12k on it). Then up the street they have LCM Subaru (and Kia I think) and beside that is their nicer used car lot. When I picked up my WRX my Spec V salesmen was there too and both of my salesmen were bad mouthing Imports of LC pretty hard.

Imports of LC isn't the lot on the corner, it's the one right beside it. Always has a bunch of $20-$30k sporty cars.

I know where it is, I got my car there. I was pretty sure they're all a part of LCM but I could be wrong.
