Nice revival of the car. I'll tell you one thing tho, a CAI doesn't do anything for the VQ's. You're better off geting a Z-tube and let it be and then add a plenum. I have a couple of buddies who mess around with VQ's and adding a CAI, the ECU doesn't like it.

A good CAI does make power on the cars with a tune. Just straight bolting it up really won't net you much other than the sound.

Depends, I know Hypertech can tunes don't like CAI. However a proper tune will help.

Truth. It pretty widely agreed in the vq world that bolt ons will hardly do anything until you get a proper tune.

Im back with some good and bad new.

The bad news is some d head decided to make an illegal uturn onto oncoming traffic from a parking spot while I was going 30mph and this is what happened. Less than a month after I got the whole front end repainted.

The good news is I went and bought another g, 06 g35 6mt w/ navigation and rear active steering and sent her straight to the paint booth.

Yeah for real, hopefully you have much better luck with this one. I really liked the silver 7 series wheels on the black though.

I suspected that new one on your block was yours. Sorry to see the old one go, but hell that thing was cursed.
