Do you not read? I said I'm impressed with the power this one makes. I just don't like the way they look that much. The front just doesn't look that good imo. I didn't say anything about the performance being unimpressive.

YES! Thank you! Been saying it for years...

Solid build. Interested in what they actually built the bottom end with though. "race engine" doesn't tell me nothing.

They use AMS spec JE pistons and Manley rods.

Seeing some replies to this thread is pretty funny. I'll at least say this, driving a car you build to go fast is one thing. Driving a car made to go fast from the factory is another. I draw the comparison having driven 750hp Supras, 500hp 300zx, 400-500 hp evos, and a fully stock GT-R with a tune. Nothing has compared to the GT-R in my driving experience. The car is comfortable at speed, period. Its a car that is a task to drive slow...it almost tiring. But at high speed, nothing has compared to it. Sure, you can put 20k or whatever in some Evo, Supra, or the like and make it have higher hp, more torque, faster down the strip, look good...but in the end, you're still driving "just that tuner car." Thats at least my view of this whole matter.

But Leo's GTR is badass, and i can' wait to drive it!

I hope you not mistaken me for one of the ones saying a 1000 whp car isn't impressive. But I am one saying that a stock GT-R is not something to write home about.

It's butter driving at slow speeds now w/ the new trans. All around perfection! Time for Alpha 12.
