thanks, means a lot to me. I am excited myself, as this car is gonna get a lot of quality work. This is my 6th dsm, but very different from all the other 5. In the past i mainly got ones already modded and had to fix other people's stupid hack jobs which i quickly found was not the right way. With this car, its going to be built MY way, and the RIGHT way. no matter the cost(to an extent lol)

White is the best color on a 2g. I would love to own an original white 2g. I have owned a few, But never down to the exact specs that I want (Stock, 5spd, awd, original/low-mileage). I guess I keep searching, And buying every one I see listed in the mean time, Just to be greedy. I'm glad you found one though, The car looks great!!!!!

That sounds great, I know i'll have anything/everything you could ever possibly need. If you need body panels, I can sell you them and color match them to your car for almost nothing..

UPDATE!
today i went to put the car in gear and POP, there goes the slave cylinder. Still unsure what happened, but the ears of the slave broke right off the trans, and was dangling by the line.
It was a brand new slave that the PO put in before he sold it, so my guess is that it was a cheap-o slave combined with the upgraded pressure plate.
Anyways, i went to advance auto and picked up a new one for 38$. Man, i must say, bleeding these dsm slave cylinders really suck. it takes forever. They are such small slaves so it takes awhile to remove all the air!

old broken one:

new one:

I found out today that the exhaust is leaking from the flex section of the downpipe as I expected.
Will be looking for a good condition/new 3" downpipe soon.

Havent really had anything to put up here lately, other than the fact that my clutch pedal desperately needed to be adjusted. After it warmed up, it would basically have 2 different 'stopping' points. i found out the clutch was basically dragging when this happened. So, i went under the dash and adjusted the rod that goes to the master cylinder. It's now MUCH better.

I feel good, because its the first point that i've owned this car where I could just drive it without worrying badly about something that it needs. Of course it still has its nicks that i still have to fix, but they're all small things

NEXT STEPS:
-looking for a good deal on 2 new all season tires to put on the front(snow will be coming soon!!)
-Still haven't installed new 2gb headlights(HID's should be here anyday)

well, i took my day off to install my new headlights as well as my 6000K HID's. I also gave her a new fresh oil change.

heres before:

and after! HID's look a little blueish for 6000k, but they needed to warm up a bit. They are now white, with a hint of blue. and definitely 10x brighter than before!!

as stated in previous post, my next goal is find a good pair of tires so i have no worries if snow comes. Other than that, I'll probably be saving up for a little.

so far i love it, haven't really done much with it but i love how the pictures are coming out, which is only 1 of its great features.

I picked up a new set of winter wheels. I just needed 2 new tires, but i found this set of rims/tires for only 200$. which is around what i'd pay for just 2 tires. couldnt beat it.
They are 17x7.5 with newish Khumo tires, and I believe they are old school rota's, as they say "ROTA" on the back of them lol.
Yes, i know they look like cobra wheels, but hey, they are better than the chrome-peeling stockies.I'm considering painting them bronze, if not ill leave em as is.

also got car washed today, and took a pic with the goPro.

They were called Rota Impacts. I had a friend with them back in the mid 90s on a 1G DSM.

UPDATE**
So a little under a week ago i lost my gears going to pick up the rims pictured in my previous post. Still waiting for the clutch master cylinder to come tomorrow at Advance Auto parts.

Anyways, i took the advantage of the nice weather today to slap on the new rims/tires!

Here's a couple pics, i'll take better ones later on:

update- so i installed master cylinder and everything went well.

I purchased a brand new 3" downpipe from Punishment Racing. The megan racing one i have on the car has a bad flex section and sounds crappy.

I also plan on taking the valve cover off and taking a look at the head. Main reason for this is because i'm burning oil and i'm hoping its the valve seals as i know it's not the turbo, and I hope it's not piston rings

Let me know if you need a head. I have a few fully built heads with cams/dual springs ETC. I'd easily help you out tremendously with one.
