Our customer drove a 2.3 stroker 8 and was hooked, he bought the car just to do the stroker.

you guys can believe whatever you want, I know for a fact that Nicks tuning is on par with the best out there.

I don't bash other shops, but I had tuning done for customers at several other Evo shops and had worse experiences than any I have read yet that came from PDT.

Its obvious who is behind the PDTsucks website. They learned how damaging a thread full of pissed off customers is to business first hand on the Supra Forums. They went from doing a few supra's a week to none almost instantly after the thread posted.

And they didn't deserve it either, it was miscomunication between them and the customer. Yet the customer was able to lure everyone that had ever heard a bad thing about them into the thread to bash them.

If my shop was ever bashed in such a manner by people repeating stories they heard I wouldn't hesitate to take legal action.

The PDT bashing band wagon has just left the building!!!

Every clutch requires break in if you want it to work properly and last.

I'm not sure what you mean by huge, but 500 around town miles is my minimum for break in.

Not sure what you mean by laughing at 12.6 on a stock turbo Evo first time at the track with a clutch thats not disengaging but hey whatever.

Here is the vid you can see this car comes out of the hole hard, now that we have it shifting after a hard launch things will get interesting.

Video: http://www.fuzionauto.com/evo9.mov

First qualifying pass you will see me launch a 1.59 60 ft then the clutch won't disengage for 2nd, so after 3 tries I just stick it in 3rd.

In the final (12.6 run) I babied it out of the hole with a 2.0 60 ft just to make sure I can shift, you can hear me short shift at 6k every gear, I was just torqueing it down the track.

Then I treed the Turbo IS300 and held him off for the win in my Red Evo.

Why? Just out of curiousity I would like to see your take on the subject.

if you beat on a new clutch it wont last as long. If you launch on a new clutch things tend break easier.

im trying to stay neutral here since i like both cars (evo's and mustangs).

This thread was getting out of control and way off-topic. We all need to relax and stay on-topic.

so what do you have down to your ix? only putting down 330 whp?

tbe,drop in, mbc?

well im going to turbotrix in jersey, sorry but just hearing and reading more than 1 story about a tuner, will make me run. hahahhaa ~

with those 3 mods i've listed, a ix should put down 350 whp no problem with a proper tune.
