With the HT up...It would pass tech, no questions asked...but the second the top was retracted...the hoops would be scrutinized for sure (especially at an SCCA, NASA, or PCA event). Hoop width, height, and rear stays are questionable, plus the mounting points would be inspected. But then again, I am a dick at tech inspections (had to turn a MX-5 away a couple weeks ago for an illegal bar at an auto-x).

I'm usually not a fan of Miata's but this one is awesome in my book! Nice work, very cool car. Post videos of it at the track when you get them.
