And yeah, I like the grilles and fogs with the blank mesh. It looks much better than the crappy looking plastic grill and fog surrounds that come from the factory...and the 2013 front end is awful looking imo.

I know what you mean about the 2013's - they are already messing up a great looking car...
get the tint soon, cause once it gets warm ur gonna wanna put the windows down !

I did like wrx as well, but the gas mileage and premium fuel was a turnoff(even though I have a premium fuel tune on my GC now lol). The genesis coupe was great to me for the price point...28k. I got the track model which is the top of the line. Only other thing I could have got was automatic transmission. I really enjoy the way the car drives and the fact that it was something different. The styling of genesis coupe is great, and I get looks and compliments everyday. I am very happy with my choice, but I think the WRX would have been a good choice as well. There is starting to be a lot more aftermarket support for the genesis coupe, which is great. Turbokits.com is coming out with a single turbo kit for the 3.8 gc's with manual trans. To be honest, with just a ecu reflash, catback and intake, I am thoroughly enjoying my car now. The r spec is the same as the track as far as suspension, wheels, lsd, etc... the interior is the only the that is different. When I bought mine there were like 2 3.8 rspecs in the whole area and they weren't budging on price at all. I wound up getting the track for just a little bit more and getting the sunroof, navigation, cruise control, etc... Good luck, and if you have any questions about the genesis coupe let me know. Some updates here:
Just ordered the following: TSW Nurburgring Wheels in Matte Gunmetal Wrapped in Hankook Evo V12's Stance GR+ Coilovers Short Throw Shifter Rigid Collar Kit And getting it tinted on Tuesday. Hope to have everything on the car within the next couple weeks. Pictures will be coming of course.

I was debating between the genny coupe and my gti this time last year but I ended up going with the gti. Every time I see a blue 2.0t coupe I kind of wish I got one. I just wasn't that thrilled with the interior and stock performance and didn't want to get the 3.8.
anyways, cool build can't wait to see it on the wheels and coils. you'll be very happy with the stance's!

I drove my car the 4 blocks to work today(its my gf's birthday and I have to hide her gifts in my car or she'll find them in the apartment). Good news: Coilovers are here. Will have those and a short shifter put on Thursday.
Bad news: Steering wheel has been vibrating at 40 plus mph. I've only driven it 10 miles since I drove it home the first time after getting the new wheels/tires on. Around west chester I didn't hit 40 so I didn't notice, but once I did on Thursday I wasn't happy. Lug nuts were tight, so I was able to take it to a tire shop today. Apparently the weights that were used for balancing were incorrect. Rear weights were completely thrown off. Front tires were hopping on the balance machine, so they will need to be replaced. Still need to figure all that out tomorrow to try and straighten things out.
