He drove his S2000 the same way I drive the Trueno in Battle Gear.
Too much time spend in the red zone.

Here's the thread about this.

Ferraris are more reliable than you think. as long as you drive them and do the proper maintence you are fine.

I'll take a NSX-R then.
Looks of a Ferrari and the reliability of a Honda.

honestly that is becuase you cant drive

why would you be proud of that

Every one says its because I can't drive but honestly do you see racecars not go through multiple engines?

Don't even give me that its because they race consistantly, so do I for hours at a time.

racecars go thourough multiple engines because they are at high rpms for long periods of time, high compression, high heat, your car is not a race car so why does it go through so many engines?

There is a world of difference between a racecar and a production car.
Racecars were meant to be driven at high RPMs for extended amounts of time.
Your car was originally meant to be a reliable daily driver.

i read the whole article. Nothing against S2000 owners, (the S 2000 and the RSX type S are my favorite naturally aspirated 4 cyclinder cars) its just that your comparing apples and oranges here. You tried to make a valid point, and i know that you want to run with the best, but its just going to be a loosing battle, and i know that most Evo and STi owners would agree. I hope i didnt offend anyone, its just my opinion.

Not saying it was meant to be a racecar but saying I don't know how to drive because I have blown engines is ignorant. I go to montreal a lot to utilize their tracks for racing (my friend has a friend that has hookups)
Raced for 2 hours straight once, it was AWESOME. I haver no regrets

I don't recall saying you don't know how to drive, but I do remember saying that you need to reevaluate your driving style in the thread about Evolution reliability.

No, blewbyu said it on the first page. I'm fine with re-evaluating my driving style for normal streets. I deifnately know I need to do that lol

its not a 1/4 mile car. its not made for burn outs. its not made for launches on the street to drill you back into your seat. but once the evo or sti run out of their powerband the s2000 is still going.

if you want raw power get the evo, but then again doesn't a turbo make up for everything? i respect the turbo crowd very much, but anyone can buy a turbo car or turbo any car for that matter and hit 12's with the right amount of money we currently have turbo charged s2000's hitting 10.6's in the 1/4.

like i said before, your can't even compare the two cars. they are just two different of platforms.
I think I was misunderstood. My point of the last section of my post was to show how someone with no experience with a car will automatically give it a bad review because they obviously like their own car better. I love a lot of things about the S2000. I hate some things too. If it isnt a 1/4 mile car and I am attracted to lots of torque, then obviously if I am presented with an opportunity to review the car, I am gonna give it a more negative review based on my tastes. This guy did the same thing.

BWAHAHAHAHA. Get over yourself.

That was the most un-objective comparison of two cars that I have ever read.

that whole article was just utter bull**** the dude is obviously in love with his "race car" S2000, he keeps doggin on the evo when in numerous magazines and numerous tv shows the evo really is the faster car around the tracks etc. Lik WRXD said the guy obviously does not know how to drive an evo and is used to the S2000
