Resident evil is definitely fun. I was so excited when they started adding multiplayer into the games. Me and probevette had a resident evil marathon when RE5 came out. So epic.

As for other Zombie games, dead rising 2 was a blast. Especially the multiplayer. Not much thought involved...just a lot of zombie killing, but still one of my favorite zombie games.

If minecraft gets a visual overhaul when it gets out of beta that'd be amazing. The concept of that game is great. I wish more developers would think outside the box and stop spitting out the same old stuff.

A great example is the game bushido blade 1&2 on the ps1 / ps2. That game was so epic and so much fun but it never really caught on for whatever reason. People didnt buy the whole "one hit kill" death matches I guess. Regardless...defnitely one of my favorite games of all time.

Try playing L4D/L4D2 with no AI characters, no special infected, and zombies only die from headshots. Then you get one intense zombie game.

all i meant to imply is that i'm tired of resident evil zombies. uber zombies, mutated zombies... i want real zombies. zombies that would have occurred from the dead rising. the way zombies used to be.

even 28 days later zombies were great. i don't mind running zombies and i don't mind shambling hoards. though, my preference is towards the latter.

as far as zombie games... i want survival horror. i want... holy ****... not... i'm gonna run into the zombies firing away and win. Dead State is what i'm looking for, but i'd prefer something first person and real time. But i do dig the older turn based games so i'm def going to be buying Dead State

Khellen, there are mods out for minecraft that make it look better and there is an xbox live game similar to it coming out. I don't mind the appearance of it considering what it is and actually waste more hours playing that than stuff like fallout new vegas. I want more of a reason to play though. it did get boring.

You don't get it, Ken. There is no Websters definition for Zombies. Because Romero was the first and the first were undead doesn't mean they all need to be undead. I've heard this same argument from ultra nerd friends of mine and I always defeat their logic. It's okay, you can love undead zombies. I find them boring as hell.

correct. there are many different styles of zombies, throughout media and throughout different cultures around the world. i happen to prefer the original media definition of the zombie and would like a horror survival game based around surviving such a situation.
