Also just got back from the usual dinner, except we went to a very special place in south jersey that I've been to once and told her I'd take her to. She loved it. I also got us tickets to go on vacation in May and paid off all that stuff(tickets, car, hotel, etc). Memories last a lifetime. Chocolates and flowers last a few days at most. |

Made a card, got her girl flowers and a necklace (my aunt just started her own etsy shop, a place for selling all homemade arts/crafts) and made her dinner... nothing too crazy, her birthday is next tuesday, for that we have 9 of our family/friends coming to a Devils game where I have her name up on the scoreboard during 2nd intermission saying happy birthday.

got my gf a card, a dozen roses, box of chocolate, and i got her a diamond necklace custom engraved and took her out to a nice dinner. The funny thing was that we so happened to pick out the same exact card lol on different days in different places at different times.

My boyfriend epic surprised me with a night out for the two of us (he's a full time dad so we only get to go out by ourselves one night every few months right now) and he took me to the union trust steakhouse in philly (its gorgeous there!!) And then we stayed overnight at the doubletree hotel
 it was nice to take a mini vacation over the weekend!

White roses, a chocolate cake because I figured she'd like that even more than the flowers, and I had dinner ready when she got in from work since I had the day off.
I'm a terrible cook so she appreciated me making the effort, and the food turned out edible. I'm not a fan of the day, but for the little effort it takes to show her I care it's not bad.

I had some making up to do for past holidays when I wasn't working. Got her flyers tickers and booked a room in AC the same night because we both never really been. Also got her a nice bracelet that was supposed to be her main Christmas present but I wasn't working then. Found out 2 weeks ago shes been lying to me forever about dumb things, and when I told her I didn't want to be with her until she changed, she went and slept with one of my good friends 2 hours later, who just happens to be the creepiest person I know... Happy V-Day Colleen... So much for the last 2 years.

Why thank you! I know V-Day is a marketing trap but its still nice to make someone feel good. The girl is just someone i am seeing.
She got me a card and some dress shirts from "Express" that i wanted for work. Oh and Drift Alliance Shirt. Pretty chill

When I got home from work yesterday, I asked Julie where she wanted to go for dinner. She said "I'm really not the hungry. Are you?". I responded "Aren't we supposed to do something since its VDay?" She said. "I guess."
As you can see, neither of us really care. We ended up getting China food takeout. |
