Wow this is proof info travels way to fast. I got a notification on my phone that this was posted and I hadn't even taken any photos myself lol

Pulled the sr out of the 240 tonight and set the engine in the wrx. Took the sawzall to the rear wishbone mount to make a little more room in that area. I'll post some pics up tomorrow.

Haha I wasn't even sure this was the same car when I posted it... but I figured silver Subaru with Nissan motor being dropped into it -- don't see too many of them LOL.

Blame Jay :P. Seriously, I'm interested into where this is going

Subaru uses the Nissan R160 (WRX) and R180 (STi) for rear ends. The R200 needs a new mount setup to fit. There was someone on Nasioc that put an R200 in a WRX.

My car just has a welded center diff and lobbed off front axles.

Cant wait to see some progress on this.

Don't be surprised if it's mostly the same. Aluminum on these cars is pretty light compared to the aftermarket CF stuff today.

So does the stock EJ20. The engine is just resting in there. Should sit quite a bit lower and further back than pictured. Haven't even gotten friendly with the cutting wheel yet. Only modification done so far was quickly cutting out the stock wishbone mount.
