i agree and disagree. i know if this were real life, since i served in the army, im able to quick think and improvise to adapt and overcome. and make best with whats around, your taught that. if its my own weapons or using someone else's. but the more you can pick up along the way will only help you later down the road or in a given situation.
but i agree with you say, profricenty(sp?) with one weapon is the greatest asset. just being sound and compentant with one weapon will work best for you.

Also, they come equipped with a pressurized tank of propane. Once it's out of fuel, it becomes a very nice missile. Again, all free.

As for what I'd be carrying around. Pickaxe for short range kills. 10 foot metal pole for "long range" spearing kills. And finally, rope. But I'm taking that one from the Boondock Saints, you always need rope.

They are heavy, which means they can't be tipped over. Spearing me woulld be damn near impossible. You would have to have the greatest aim, in the dark, while trying to spear a moving target that would be driving towards you. I have the ability to move forward, backwards, up and down. I also have a pick axe that could be used to give me cover, along with the guard that is on the forklift machine.

Unless your an olympian or a roman from the 300 era, spearing me is going to be the death of you.

Even if you end up right in front of me and have the shot and are ready to take it, you still have 8 other people running around trying to kill you.

My tactic is simple. What is the absolute best way to be offensive and defensive at the same time with out getting killed?

Everyone here is soo busy thinking Offense, but is forgetting about the other killers running aroung trying to get you.

I'm a beast, please test me at a home depot lol.

Oh and guys, I just re-read what you wrote, I am not tallking about the FORKLIFT.

I was actually talking about the lift they have.

Its on wheels, runs on propane as well, moves failry quickly, and has a cage around it.

It's used to get heavier items from the higher shelves, and to retocks items. But not super heavy stuff that they use the forklikts for.

I'll post a picture if I can find one.

Here's what I am talking about.

Weighs 1,000 lbs.

250 feet per minute

IT's fast enough to move around, weighs enough to run you down, fits through a standard size doorway when lowered. Has the ability to move up,down, left right, front wheel steering allows 0 turning radius for manueverability.

The problem with a standard forklift is the fact that your still on the ground.

:-).

I tried looking for scissor lift but apparently that term is used for car scissor lifts.

And if your trying to spear me, im just going to lay down. There's no way your metal pole is going to touch me.

And if you try anyway and it lands on my machine I'm going to pick it up (if we can) and chuck it right back at you. lol.

P.S. you guys are all choking from smoke inhalation. Im not the only one that started a fire.

1: The controls and power BS are on the bottom of a scissor lift. So you're at the mercy of whomever is on the ground.

2: Smoke rises, dummy.

1- The controls and power is located at the top. Otherwise the machine is useless and you'd be stuck up top. There's a reason why it's noted that it is a self propelled machine. Meaning you only need 1 person to operate it. I have seen them being used at Home Depot by only one person on top.

Here's a close up. Note: black box with controls on the platform that moves up and down.

See the black box with the controls on it?

That answers your first response.

Smoke rises, yes you are correct and I thought of that as well. I have the ability to go up and down and move as well as wear a gas mask.

I have the ability to manuever as well as hold a pick axe.

I can move away from you at a height where I am not all the way up, but out of harms way. I can also move to and from any smoke/fire.

While your busy worrying about my machine you are being followed by the ninja in drape's or getting shot at with the nail gun guy. Or your being crushed by a burning falling piece of 10x12 or holding your neck to avoid breathing in any burning smoldering fiberglass insulation on the floor.

I also have the ability to drive towards you while swinging my pick axe.

Me>Dummy.

TRUST ME, my plan is definitely well thought out. Worry about staying alive instead of my scissor lift idea. :-P.

P.S. I also have the ability to get on and off the lift, so I don't need to worry too much about smoke rising.

WOW, I'm just F-ing around but, I use those lifts all the time. The master control panel is ALWAYS on the bottom. In your pic it'd be on the other side. Te one on top is a slave to the one on the base.

I've stuck people in them before as a joke. It's tough to climb down, running late, on a Friday. But that's what you get for eating my lunch.

lol Ein, don't take me personally. I know there's a switch down there as well. BUT there's a switch on top is what my point was.

I know you just kidding as well, it's just a game :-).

But I wonder how stuff would pan out.

Someone should pick 10 actual ideas and actually try and put it into play and see what would actually happen.

THis would make for a great GTA/zombieland type video game.

Heres mine. I love knives. Being in the Army does teach you some "interesting" things. Especially what you learn from Foreign Militaries.

My first thought when I read the first post was

Ax
Propane tank
Box of flares

And I thought that you were only to choose 3 things you can buy at home depot. When did home depot start selling fork lifts and scissor lifts?

great thread but defense is key.

tool #1 is a demolition hammer. close combat blunt on one side, sharp on the other. can be thrown if absolutely needed.

tool #2 is an ax. medium range close combat. sharp and quiet.

tool #3 is a piece of plexiglass/metal/wood for use as a shield. can also be used as a mini ram for running into people.

instead of attacking everyone, I'd quietly camp on the top of the shelves and let you fools all kill each other, thus i'm actually using you as a weapon since your doing the work for me. once most of the people are dead, the last man standing is most likely semi injured and tired. I will strike and kill and walk out that bitch like I own it.
