Winter is when the trails are their best..........they are solid as concrete, the rocks are frozen to the ground, velcro like traction and no mud.

Aside from the listed trails in the Wissahickon, check out High Rock Vista at Ralph Stover State Park in Bucks, near New Hope. Also, the Pennypack Wilderness in MontCo is okay. Decent length trails, not a ton of hard climbs though.

Guess I should have searched in the PA section lol. That trail finder site will definitely be helpful.

I frequent Jacobsburg Park, since I only live a few minutes from there. Also have been to Raystown Lake a few times as well. Nice riding at both places.

wow i wish i found this thread earlier, i used to ride all over the place, besides all of the places listed, i know where a good amount of trails are. I rode downhill, so i was always looking for DH trails, but places that i have rode that are pretty nice are Marsh Creek, Off of Skelp Level RD in West Bradford TWSHP, The Duryea Downhill trail in reading is the best by far, but your gonna need to get shuttled back up. I know where a lot of hidden gems are. I really wish i still had my bike though

I'm just rocking a Specialized Rockhopper. If I keep riding pretty regularly I can justify a full suspension setup maybe next year or the year after.

I just picked up another mountain bike. 04' bighit. I usually ride high rocks (ralph stover state park) every weekend or so when it's nice out.
