I don't think PA troopers even have quotas. Ever since I got my V1 I've grown to respect the PA staties a lot. Untill you own a nice detector, you'll never realize how little the PA troopers actually use thier rader. Usually when they're sitting on the median, their guns usually aren't on, they're just watching for people driving like a douche. The only time they actively moniter traffic with radar is on the turnpike.

On the other hand, the NY and NJ state troopers are just armed tax collectors. They always have their rader on and they almost always hide to ambush drivers with big fines instead of being visible to actually slow traffic. I have a feeling thats a factor as to why NJ insurance is so bad, cus the cops ticket everything that moves compared to PA.

hell ya.. when im driving to or from my girlfriends house in jersey on weekend nights, i ALWAYS see no fewer than 5 or 6 people pulled over on RT. 42.. thats only the 20 min im on the road.. i cant imagine how many they pull in over a full weekend

one time i counted 9 cars pulled over on that stretch at once

42 is very bad. I almost always see people pulled over and many cops sitting on the sides or in the median.

I have speed pasts cops doing well over 80mph in like a 50mph zone.. in my car. I start to slow down getting ready to pull over, and the cops don't even move. I think cops just feel sorry and say forget it.. lol
