If you find one and want to buy one, please please get it inspected by a BMW indy or dealer. Get a compression and leak down test. There are two types of V8's, the Alusil and Nakisil. The Alusil block was designed to run on 89 or up octane. However, gasoline went down in quality and people never read the owners manual. This caused those engines to fail. The replacement was the Nakisil block, which didn't have the issue.

The car mike showed you is an E28.

some sick cars i gotta get my teg i cant get it in the garage the front traction bar hits my lip its like 1inch from the ground.

Yeah, that's what i was reading. Something with the cylinder lining. I'm not really in the market, more of just perusing.
